Refund Policy

This policy applies to paid library sessions and article bundle licenses from SynapStream Core. Public blog articles remain free and are not subject to refunds.

Deposit and confirmation

A 30% deposit confirms your session slot. The balance is due before or immediately after the session as stated in your booking email.

Full refund eligibility

  • You cancel at least 72 hours before the scheduled start time
  • We cancel due to guide illness or office closure — full refund including deposit
  • Technical failure on our side prevents the session from starting and cannot be rescheduled within 14 days

Partial refund

  • Cancellation 24–72 hours before start: 50% of total fee refunded; deposit retained if less than deposit amount
  • Cancellation under 24 hours: deposit non-refundable; balance may be credited toward a future session within 90 days at our discretion

Non-refundable items

  • No-shows without prior notice
  • Session time used — once a briefing, walkthrough, or review begins, the session fee is earned
  • Custom PDF article bundles after delivery to your email
  • Rush booking surcharges when cancellation is client-initiated
  • Travel time fees for on-site visits once the guide has departed

Rescheduling

One free reschedule is allowed if requested 48+ hours in advance. Additional changes may incur a ₩15,000 administrative fee. Rescheduled sessions must occur within 60 days of the original date.

Work already started

If you submit intake materials and we begin preparatory research more than 24 hours before a session you then cancel, we may retain up to 25% of the total fee to cover guide preparation time.

Article bundle licenses

Bundle quotes are custom. If delivery has not occurred, you may cancel for a full refund of any advance payment. After PDF delivery, refunds are not available except for material errors in licensed content we cannot correct within 7 days.

Refund process and timing

Email hello@synapstreamcore.click with your booking reference. Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method. Bank transfers may take additional clearing time.

Disputes

If you believe a session did not match the described scope, contact us within 7 days with specific details. We may offer a partial credit or a follow-up session rather than a cash refund when the session was substantially delivered.
